2011 iMac Supports SATA III 6 Gbps When Firmware Update Is Applied

According to OWC, the iMac EFI Update 1.6 enables SATA 6G on the new 2011 iMac. Good news!

But it’s not much help, since Apple cripples the ability to replace a drive without the fans running loudly.
