Apple Now Offers 8GB Memory Modules for Mac Pro

I’ve been using OWC 8GB memory modules for well over a year now, at present with 48GB in my 12-core Mac Pro (sometimes 64GB), and 24GB or 32GB in my 6-core Mac Pro (I swap memory around for testing).

Apple has quietly begun to offer 8GB memory modules, and has even made the pricing far more reasonable (see my December 2010 discussion of Apple memory prices).
